From Monterrey, Mexico, Natalia Sánchez is a multi-disciplinary artist that plays with movement and photography.
After becoming the Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM) Dance Group’s Artistic Director at 19 years old, Natalia moved to New York City to attend Peridance Center’s Certificate Program in the Ballet and Contemporary Track. As a professional dancer, she has collaborated with like-minded artists like Yara Travieso, Greg Dolbashian, Teresa Fellion, Eilish Henderson, and César Brodermann. As a choreographer and movement director, her dance films and on stage works have been presented amongst various New York venues such as Arts on Site, Triskelion Arts, the Emelin Theater, Manhattan Movement Arts Center, and Universal Preservation Hall to mention a few. Her dance photography work has been featured in dance and performing arts magazines such as Artistic Tribe, Broadway World, and The Dance Enthusiast.
Natalia has worked with renowned institutions and companies such as American Ballet Theatre, Compañía Nacional de Danza de México, GreenSpace, BodyStories: Teresa Fellion Dance, and Peridance Center.
